Brit Music Tours brings together the best of British music from the origins of music genres and its heritage to the most famous figures & bands in UK music history (and present!). 

 

We are passionate about music and the locations connected to our famous musicians such as Elton John, Queen, George Michael, The Beatles and many more! It is the love for their songs & lives which made us (a group of 4 friends) come together and bring home their stories.

 

Music genres & their song writing legends are formed in all parts of the UK, so we decided to create Brit Music Tours and bring to life our great music heritage in one place! You may still wish to travel our great country but now you can enjoy your favourite musical hero along the way!

OUR HISTORY

2008 & 2009
It all really began in 2008 & 2009 as two companies were formed that have heavily played into the creation of Brit Music Tours. Our co-directors, Alex, setup Northern Secrets as a incoming tour operator serving the European and American markets and specialising in Northern England. Lewis, another co-director, in 2009 setup our sister company, Brit Movie Tours, specialising in movie location tours throughout the UK.

2013
Paul successfully begins a Liverpool-based destination management business, Liverpool Destination Services, which services the North West region of England and specialises in cruise visits to Liverpool & North Wales.

Our History: Cruise Lines
2016 & 2017
Alex also spends more time facilitating cruise visitors & acting as the official arm of the cruise lines in Newcastle at Port of Tyne. This leads to wider collaboration, from 2015 onwards, with LDSL in Liverpool, resulting in a better placed destination management company looking after the whole of the North of England. The newly formed business between Alex & Paul is today known as Experience North Ltd.

Our History: Peaky Blinders Tours
2017
In the same year, our history collides and both Experience North & Brit Movie Tours joined in collaboration in both Liverpool and Newcastle to create new movie/TV tour experiences. This brought o life the official Peaky Blinders Tour in Liverpool and ITV's Vera Location Tours in Newcastle.

2019
A transformative year for all three of our directors as they jointly decided to go into business together rather than simply collaborate. The opportunity arose to take on and continue one of Liverpool's greatest tour brands, Fab 4 Taxi Tours. The three friends did not think twice as not only is it an iconic brand in Liverpool but also specialises in one of the great passions of all three - music! The decision was quickly made that this was bigger than Liverpool alone and, with that thought, Brit Music Tours was born.

The year of the COVID-19 pandemic will go into the history books... At Brit Music Tours we did not stand still and wait to come out of the crisis but instead stayed pro-active and worked on new products and changes to our systems to make your experience a better one, from browsing through booking & enjoying our tours (safely!).
