Beatles Liverpool Walking Tour
Join us on this 2 ¼ hour Beatles tour Liverpool.
You will explore some of the special places in Liverpool that the Beatles were emotionally connected to and frequented on their path to global fame in the 1960's on this Liverpool Beatles walking tour.
The locations visited on this tour are all in the central city, so the walking is easy and gently paced.
Highlights include walking down Mathew Street where the world-famous Cavern Club is situated and opportunities to have selfies with John Lennon and Cilla Black by their statues. Of course, one of the best parts of this street is Cavern Wall of Fame where you might spot your favourite band or artist on one of the inscribed bricks. You will also stumble across Eleanor Rigby on this stroll along the streets that gave rise to the Beatles and The Mersey Beat era.

Your Beatles Liverpool Walking Tour begins in the city centre of Liverpool. Here you will meet your local Beatles Guide. On the tour you will visit the following attractions:
- Beatles Statues – A statue of the Fab 4 strolling out towards the River Mersey. This Fab 4 ensemble was erected in 2015 and celebrates the 50th anniversary of when the Beatles last performed in Liverpool. They then headed off to conquer America and lead the British invasion over the pond! (On occasion due to events taking place on the Waterfront- access to the Andy Edwards Beatle Statue on the Waterfront maybe limited. On these occasions we stop by The Beatles Statue by John Doubleday in the Cavern Walks)
- Liverpool Waterfront
- Brian Epstein statue
- Mathew Street – you will take a leisurely stroll down Mathew Street where the legendary Cavern Club is situated. The Beatles played here 292 times in the 1960s. The street is pedestrianised today so our guide will help you to enjoy this magic place with its many Beatles associations and attractions, including statues to John Lennon and Cilla Black and the iconic Cavern Wall of Fame, the White Star pub and the 4 Lads Who Shook The World sculpture
- Eleanor Rigby Statue – One of the Beatle’s most iconic songs. Eleanor Rigby is still an enigmatic figure in the annals of Beatles folklore – learn why and have a selfie beside Eleanor Rigby.
- Hard Days Night Hotel
- Liverpool Town Hall – This elegant Georgian building stands elegantly at the top of Castle Street. In 1964 the city council passed the resolution that confirmed the honor of Freeman of the City on the Beatles. If you are lucky we will be invited inside to see their names inscribed on the list of Honorary Freeman in the Entrance Hall.
Your tour ends at the Beatles Statues by the famous waterfront of Liverpool.
