His songs and life were very much influenced by his family upbringing and background in the suburbs of North London and our expert guide will share wonderful stories of his life, family, his friendships, loves, and achievements.

The George Michael Small Group tour will start with George’s humble childhood beginnings in Kingsbury in North London in the 1970s. By the time you reach Highgate at the end of the tour, you will have followed the course of the rise of one of Britain’s greatest singers.  This is where he had reached the dizzy heights of fame having achieved multi-award-winning albums and fame with Wham! and as a solo singer from the 80’s to the noughties.

Going on a musical journey you will get to see some of the sites where these songs were written, where George and Andrew had their first-ever gig, where George, Andrew, and Pepsi formed Wham! and much more.

The tour will cover more than 15 important sites in the life of George across places including Kingsbury, sites in Hertfordshire and Hampstead, and Highgate.

There will be plenty of opportunities to get out of the vehicle, listen to his music and even stop for a drink at the same pub where Wham! was formed.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

• The vehicle can accommodate a foldable wheelchair in the luggage hold. Walking is required as part of the tour. Carers can attend with a 25% discount. There is no British Sign Language interpreter on the tour.
